Navigating a Meaningful Career Path From the Beginning: a Values Workshop for Young Adults
Are you, or someone you care about, a young adult in the phase of navigating the beginning of your career path?
This workshop is for young people (in their 20’s) who are looking for some clarity on how to set themselves up for a meaningful and purposeful career and life. Are you or someone you care about soon to or recently graduated and unsure of what the next step will be? Or are you in your first “real” job but aren’t sure this is the direction you want to continue in? Or maybe you decided a four year college wasn’t for you, but you aren’t sure what you’d like to pursue and are feeling a bit lost or directionless.
This workshop can help you do some foundational exploration that is often skipped in the transition of college to career. When we don’t take the time early in our life to figure out what is really important to us, what we really care about, we often find ourselves down a path that was never really of our true choosing. Eventually, without this foundation, we can feel stuck or trapped somewhere that we know we shouldn’t be but don’t know how to free ourselves from. I hope you’ll walk away from this workshop feeling a sense of empowerment to follow your own wisdom toward a meaningful career path and a satisfying life.
In this two-hour workshop we will:
Identify your highest values and discover what’s most important to you in your career and overall life decisions
Understand how mapping your values to intentions and goals can create alignment and authenticity in your life
Explore how values-based decision making can lead to greater clarity of what’s possible and what will lead to overall well-being

This is a 3-class series for those interested in exploring inner and outer change in their lives in a supportive group environment. Skillfully navigating change and transition and attending to what is in and out of balance in our lives has a direct impact on the degree of well-being, purpose, and satisfaction we experience.
These three classes can be taken individually or as a series to give you the personal understanding and tools to open to the next phase of your life with clarity, confidence, joy, and deeper insight. Throughout the 3 classes, you will complete a series of highly effective self-assessments and tools from the Life Balance Institute that are designed to give you clarity and help you move through times of change or imbalance with more alignment and clear intention.
Class One: Discovering Life Balance
Take a close look at your priorities and time though a “Life Balance Assessment”
Explore which areas of your life need attention
Class Two: Clarifying & Aligning to Values
Begin to clarify what is most important to you
Learn how mapping your values to intentions can create alignment and authenticity in your life
Class Three: Navigating Change/Well-Being
Better understand the journey through change & the path to well-being
Explore how values-based decision making can help you effectively meet the change/ transition/imbalance you are facing
1:1 Private sessions via Zoom
Personal coaching to help you navigate a life change/transition, or to explore life balance
(3-10 sessions generally recommended)
