ABOUT

For over a decade, I've supported adolescents, emerging adults, and parents as they navigate pivotal transitions: academic challenges, identity development, the leap from school to career, and the profound shifts that come with parenthood and caregiving. What draws me to this work is the belief that clarity, self-awareness, and a strong sense of values are the foundation of a meaningful, empowered and satisfying life.

My professional background spans several interconnected roles. As a college and career advisor and mentoring coordinator, I've guided young adults through some of their most consequential decisions. As an educational therapist and learning specialist — working in both private practice and school settings — I've supported students with diverse learning profiles, including those with neurodiversity, helping them understand how they learn best and build the confidence to advocate for themselves. I've also recently had the privilege of serving as an application reviewer for the University of California, Santa Cruz, giving me a firsthand window into how colleges evaluate the whole student, an experience that has reinforced my ability to work with students navigating the college process.

My approach is also deeply informed by life. I am a parent myself. My own parenting journey has included navigating neurodiversity and life-threatening health challenges within my family,  giving me an intimate understanding of what it means to search for balance while carrying a lot. That perspective informs my work in ways that no training alone could.

For the past decade, mindfulness and insight meditation have been central to my own life, deepening my understanding of how we meet change and uncertainty. My training with the Life Balance Institute and certification as a Change & Transition Strategist under the guidance of Phillip Moffitt have shaped the framework I bring to every workshop and client engagement.

I integrate this professional and personal experience with Life Balance tools to help people — whether they're just starting out, stepping into a new role, or finding their footing as a caregiver — move forward with clarity and intention. My passion is supporting individuals to move through change in a way that feels rooted in alignment, purpose, and balance.

…no one has the power or authority to save you the way you can save yourself. All therapists, meditation teachers, counselors, and coaches can do is guide you to reclaim your power. A guide is not a savior. A guide is simply the person who can show you how to walk the right path so that you can finally live without having to carry so many mental burdens.
